Britania Group of Island at San Agustin, Surigao del Sur. This is one of the present attraction in Mindanao. Britania group of island consists of 24 islands in San Agustin, but you can only visit a few of them. You can see and feel the nature once you reach the area. Clear blue water, white sand, fresh air and tasty different seafoods in cheap price. These are the things you will encounter once you reach Britania.
We reached Surigao del Sur by land, about 5-6hrs of driving a private vehicle from Davao City. When we reached the San Agustin. Too bad there were no available rooms left on the different hotels and resorts we inquired. We visit the Surigao during the celebration of Holy Week which I think is a very bad idea. Crowd were gathered from the Enchanted River up to San Agustin. It's a good thing that people around were nice and we were able to talk to some residents and guide us to somewhere where we can at least rent a room from their houses. for the price of P1,500 we were able to get a big aircondition room which is good for more than 4 persons.

Once we are settled looking for a place to stay, we move on to our Island hopping trip. We rented a bout and the price is P1,500 for the whole day package. Since iis holiday, which is also a dis advantage, we have to pay the whole price and split the boat with other tourists. The boat would just drop us and again pic us up later if we decided to transfer to another island.We were also able to order a bucket of shrimps at Jumong's Food house for only P150 pesos. At that cheap, the serving is almost good for four persons. They serve fresh different seafoods.

There were a lot of bad experiences due to the peak season. And the crowd of tourist also saturated the area. But the view, adventure and great experience can't be be compared. :D

The place is very amazing. and very attractive for everyone who loves nature. Just a little advice if you want to visit the area. Don't visit if you don't want a crowd with you during your vacation. But if you can't wait like us, just go on with your adventure :D
