If you want to explore Iligan City. The best part is the Maria Cristina Falls. It is the sight of NAPOCOR's hydro electric Project which produce 70% of the electricity of the whole Mindanao. That's a WOW! Its sometimes called the "twin falls"

Entering Maria Cristina Plant |
Last July of 2015, we visit Iligan City for a small adventure. From the city of Cagayan de Oro, we ride a private vehicle to Iligan City and very eager to see the what they called Maria Cristina Falls. We left at around 9:00am in the morning and was able to reach Iligan City at around 10:30am. After having lunch at a nearest Jolibee, we did not waste time and proceed to the Iligan's pride.
There is an entrance fee. Somehow I forgot how much is it. I think its around P70.00 to 100.00 and you can enjoy all your time inside the NPC.
