Mati City : Dahican Beach

2 weeks after our adventure at Camiguin Island, we visit MATI city Davao Oriental. October 6, 2014 was declared a holiday and we find it a very good time spend our holiday at the prime destination of the surfers and skimboarders. Another couple also accompanied us on our journey to the land of MATI. First, we decided to take the van from the van terminal outside Gaisano Mall of Davao. We really intended to try it to save more time from travelling 4hrs to 5hrs Bus ride from Davao City to Mati. The fare was quite cheaper from the bus fare. Its 220 pesos and its a good thing that the van would take us to the hotel where we intended to stay for the night. The Baywalk hotel was our first destination.

Double Bed Good for 2 Couple

We waited for our couple friend to arrive since they took the bus ride. It took them about 5hrs before they reach MATI city. While waiting on them, we took a walk outside the hotel along the Baywalk. And we decided to shoot some photos.

It took time before the our couple friend arrived so we decided to take our dinner. There were a lot of BBQ booths just right Outside Baywalk Park so we decided to get in to one of the then sit and order. The BBQs were quite cheap. Only P5.00 per piece. We ordered a few since we are not really into a heavy meal. In total, we only pay less than P100 for dinner. Quite a saving :D

Just like I said, we are not into heavy meal

Aftera the meal, we decided to get back to the hotel to take some rest since our friend couple still did not arrive. Later, at 8:00pm finally they arrived at the hotel and we accompanied them back to the place where we took our dinner so they could also dine. And then, we decided to take a rest since we are leaving early for Dahican the next day.

Oct. 5, 2014 morning, before we leave for Dahican, we stopped by the Baywalk park again for some photo shooting.

Baywalk 6:00am in the morning

After our morning photo shoot, we proceed to Dahican. First we hired a tricycle to take us to the area. The fee was P50 per head. Its quite expensive. Its too late to know that the fare for tricycle to Dahican is ony P20 per head. :(

Then we reached Amihan Beach Resort. There was no entrance fee.

We can walk through shore to transfer from any beach resort. So we decided to take a walk to reach dahican. We ignored the heat of the sun and enjoyed the view wile walking. We also took some photos :D

Then after a couple of minutes walking, we reached Dahican :D

We got tired and hungry. We did not stay at Dahican too long because we can not guarantee the safety of our things. Dahican is an open resort which is taken care of by the government of Mati City. It's beauty is preserved for every tourist, individuals or anyone who would visit the area. After all, our picture taking and our experience, on the white sand of Dahican beach, we moved to Botona Beach resort where we had our lunch.

We forgot to take some pictures of the beach. We were in hurry to get to the best beach in Mati City. The Blue Bless Beach Resort. We took a motorcycle paying P50 per head to deliver us safely to Blue Bless Beach Resort. There were no other option but to accept the expensive offer because transportation around the area is limited.
