8 tourist spots that you should visit in Camiguin Island

Camiguin Island is one of the greatest places we visit last 2014. We posted different places and different things to do in the island. In this post, we would like to have a recap about what are the possibl things to do and places to visit in the island.

When we arrived at the Island, we immediately seek for some tour guide. There are a lot of people who will offer you to guide in your adventure around the Island. Camiguin Island is only a small island which you can actually tour within only one day.

We managed to talk to a single motorcycle driver to tour us around the island for the whole day in payment of P900.00. It may sound too much but its totally worth it. We managed to ask about how many beautiful spots we could visit in the island. We were told that we are going to visit 8 tourist spots in the island within the day.

STO. NINO COLD SPRING

Our first spot is the Sto. Nino Cold Spring. The water is so clear and cold. You can see some small fishes swimming in the water. The spring is located at Catarman and can be reach through a single type motorcycle.

KATIBAWASAN FALLS

The falls is located at the foot of Mt. Timpoong southeast of Mambajao. It's not a very big falls. It's just a small one :D

BURA SODA WATER SWIMMING POOL

The pool is compose of CO2 which we usually found on soft drinks. Well, we were not able to try the pool but still we were able to atleast took some pics. :D

WALK WAY TO THE OLD VOLCANO

We were not able to climb the stairs because we were so exhaust from our previous activities.

OLD CHURCH RUINS

Definitely one of the prime location if you visit Camiguin Island. It's a ruin of an old church which was devastated during the explosion of the Mr. Mambajao.

SUNKEN CEMENTERY

It was low tide when we visit the sunken cementery. We were not able to cross the sea to get closer to it. But still one of the best place to be.

WHITE ISLAND

Probably the best place to be when you are in Camiguin Island. We rented a boat to take us to the naked island for P450.00 and that is already back in fort. This is the part where we stayed for almost 2 hrs just to enjoy the view and the ambiance.

ARDENT HOT SPRING

Our last stop is the hot spring. Probably not the least. It's warm water would make you feel relax after your whole day trip.
