Jaro Cathedral of Ilo-ilo City. Located at Seminario, Jaro, Ilo-ilo City. Simply one of the historical place in Ilo-ilo City. It is known and build in the year 1864. It is also known as the oldest church in Ilo-ilo and National Shrine of our Lady of Candles.
There was a mass on going when we went to the church, that's why we were not able to explore the interior. But the place is full of historic structures. Most of the places in Ilo-ilo were greatly preserved.
By simply riding a jeepney to Jaro, you can drop by in front of the cathedral. it's not hard to find the place since it's located at the center of the city and all people knew about the church.
